Had another wood and salt firing out at William Jewel College last weekend. I shino glazed everything so the teapots could be functional, think we had a strange reduction because I don't see much of the oranges I normally get with that glaze. BUT we also had parts of the kiln up to CONE 12, and the clay and glaze are both made for CONE 10.
Some of the pots did some shifting around because of how hot it got in there. The handle on the last one actually moved over so much it separated from the rest of the pot!
I also have just posted some more cups and bowls that I just got out of the kilns at the Kansas City Clay Guild.
